This is a series of videos I shot/edited for various healthcare entities showing multiple perspectives of how the process of treatment works. There’s also many instances of the client telling their own story which is my favorite part of these videos. Diving into what made the person choose to use in the first place and the strength to come out on the other side. All of these projects involved multiple days of planning, set-ups/locations, interviews, and post production.

There is nothing I love more than telling a good story and sometimes a live action narrative is the only way you can communicate ideas/events you couldn’t possibly be there for in “real life”. Here are a few narrative films I have had the pleasure to have worked on.

You Drew You

“You Drew You” is a short film I edited which was shot in Murfreesboro, TN’s Brass Horn Coffee Roasters LLC shop right before lockdown. It’s a funny little film about learning to be yourself starring Alan Powell and Evan Taylor Williams. The piece was directed by Evan as well, shot by Josh Shreve, and produced by Hope Karwoski.

Every year they wrap around a non-profit and produce a video for them and this year it was for End Slavery TN (https://www.endslaverytn.org/). This piece was directed by David Ogle. This is a short film titled “The Personal Price of Progress” in which I was the Director of Photography. The film was produced as part of the 2018 48 Hour Film Project. The lead actor Jeff Durham was nominated for best actor.

Waylon Payne Live in Studio – Promo Series

This series was a real honor to edit. Shot on three mini Alexa’s by Cinematographer/Director Dave Ogle and sound recorded by Engineer Eric Masse (Miranda Lambert, Rayland Baxter). Waylon Payne (Carnival Music) is one of those rare country outlaw gems that you do not hear enough of anymore and his story is just as amazing as his sound. Enjoyed every minute of these edits.

Had the pleasure of filming/editing this epic wedding in the Redwoods of Santa Cruz. Since Catie Beth & Daniel and the location are so unique, I wanted the video to be unique and unlike any other wedding video you've seen.
